Emergency stop
Press to activate emergency stop.
Red light indicates activation. Press and hold Reset button to deactivate emergency stop.
ON
Green light is on when lift is active.
All lights turn off after approx. 3 minutes of no use.
Reset
Press and hold for 5 seconds to deactivate emergency stop. The light turns off, and all buttons work again.
Emergency lowering
If Up/Down is not working.
Press and hold emergency lowering button; lowering starts after 5 seconds. A constant beep will sound during lowering.
Battery
Green: 100%
Orange: 50%
Red: Must be charged

Use ONLY in situations where it is not possible to lower the user normally.

Service Indicator
Yellow
1 month left until annual service (lights up for 30s at activation).
Orange
Annual service exceeded by 1 month (lights up until it goes standby).
Orange + Beep
Annual service exceeded by 2 months (lights up until it goes standby + 3 beeps upon activation).
Weight
Green
Hoist is set to the selected weight capacity
Red
The load exceeds the selected weight limit.
In this case, the user can only be lowered because of satefy reasons.

Sling video tutorial -
- Turn the lift upside down (180° flip)
- Reposition the spreader bar from one bayonet to the other
- To know more, follow the instructions below adapted to the desired mode (fixed, portable) -
- Insert the bayonet in the cart on the tracks
- Push
- Turn clockwise
- Plug the handcontrol
- Install the spreader bar
- Deactivate the emergency stop by pressing the Reset button (R) on the handcontrol for 5 seconds -
- Slide the strap into the slot on the extension arm
- Click the bayonet into the bayonet holder
- While exterting a slight tension on the strap with one hand, push the bayonet inside the cart on the tracks
- Turn clockwise
- Plug the hand control by sliding it under the Luna handle
- Install the spreader bar on the bayonet on the lift
- Deactivate the emergency stop by pressing the Reset button (R) on the handcontrol for 5 seconds -
Use only if the Up/Down arrows are not working
Press and hold the emergency lowering button.
Lowering starts after 5 seconds. Press and hold the button throughout the lowering.
A constant beep will sound. -
Press stop button
The hand control is blocked
Press Rest button (R), hold for 5 seconds -
When not in use, always charge the LUNA®X5 lift
In fixed mode : Place the hand control in the charging station
In portable mode : Connect the charger cable to the side panel. Plug the charger to the wall socket

If the hand control does not work:
• Check that the emergency stop is not activated (if yes, use Reset button).
• Check that the hand control is properly connected.
• Check battery level
• Check that the handcontrol is properly plugged (you should hear a click sound) -
The green light on the charger blinks when the lift is not charging.
Please put the lift back to charge.
